Bulgarian Water and Sewerage Holding EAD
Bulgarian Water and Sewerage Holding EAD is a sole shareholder holding company with state property in the capital. It is the principal of all companies with state participation and whose business is water supply and sewerage. Its goal is the long-term provision of a sustainable model for financing the water supply industry and the related strategic goals, guaranteeing quality water supply services while ensuring an acceptable price for the public services provided by water supply operators to users. The company was established based on and in compliance with the Order of the Council of Ministers in the Republic of Bulgaria dated January 22, 2020. The creation of the holding company is also in accordance with the provision of Art. 5 of the Public Enterprises Act.
The main task of "Bulgarian Water Supply Holding" EAD is to provide institutional, administrative, regulatory, financial and expert support to state water supply operators and a resource for the implementation of significant investments in the construction of modern water supply and sewerage infrastructure and the achievement of a high standard of customer service .
